Tree :)

I Like Trees.
So here we are at a McDonald's driving home from the Geist's cabin when I see this tree...standing there all by itself...right across the street. It just looks so awesome to me! It's rather straight, yet it's slanted. It has leaves, yet one branch doesn't. And there is giant body of water that fades into the purple sky at the horizon :) I love beautiful moments like these where you see something and it just looks so...well perfect! So I take a quick picture and later I realize...okay so there's a super awesome bird flying right next to the tree...and that also just looks so perfect there!!!

Leaf :)

Stand Out!
Even though I color accented this leaf and made everything else black and white in this picture, it still stood out to me this much when I saw it laying there on the ground in real life. It was the brightest, reddest leaf I had ever seen! So...I obviously took a picture of it :)

Lake :)

Peaceful.
I love how the look of this picture starts full on the right and gets smaller as you look to the left. Then I made the saturation high to make the colors vibrant (which you know I loooove) and that's pretty much it :) It's just a very calming picture.

Sky Scrapers :)

Scraping the Sky
This was taken while I was in New York last spring :) We were on a tour bus and a we were driving down a street right next to the Hudson River and everything just looked so vertical and horizontal so I made sure the camera was perfectly straight with no angles to this picture to make it look just right!

Candles :)

Take Your Candle, Go Light Your World.
This picture was taken in New York inside a beautiful church :) All I did was soften this picture and give it a warmer temperature (which candles are supposed to do: be warm and calming and such) hehe :)

Bug :(

Ewwwww!
I'm really proud of this picture because I got so close to a bug haha :) I don't even think it's that great of a picture! I also like how the grasshopper is green while the rocks are in sepia :)

GiRLiES :)

This One's Just For Fun :)
This picture was taken at the Geist's cabin and I just edited it for fun and accented their swimsuits and changed the colors :) Hope you like it!

WiNDOW :)

Open Up The Dirty Window
This picture just sorta happened! I was in Libby's old room and the sun looked cool through my lens so I took the picture :) Then I changed the colors to pink and made the contrast high so the sky stood out the most! I'm obsessed with making colors bright and unrealistic :) Photography to me is like art so I just make my colors how I want them :)

TORi :)

ToriBear :)
So...Tori is beautiful and another great model! The top picture I love because of the color accent and how it's off-centered. On the middle picture I just edited it for fun with her name haha and I love how the light is coming through the trees! The bottom picture was kind of an accident. I had accent green on just to see what would happen and it actually turned out really awesome and faded into her hair a little :)

Wet Cement :)

CAUTION: Wet Cement
This was taken on a parking ramp but we had to be careful to stay on the edge of it instead of actually going into the wet parking ramp :) The reflection looked really cool to me and the sky was so bright that I had to take the picture! And then I made the color theme a little more purple-y :) haha

Sunset :)

Red Skies Tonight...Sailors Delight
Even though sunsets are always more beautiful in person than in photographs, these are my two favorites. The top picture was taken outside on a parking ramp and the bottom picture was taken from inside the science museum through a window! In both pictures I made the contrast high so the sky is bright and everything else is pretty much black to make the sunset stand out even more!

LiGHTS :)

Sooooooo...
I just shook the camera around at night with a few lights and stores near by and this is what happened! Also you can sorta see a heart in the middle of this picture which is pretty sweet :)

River :)

I like how the colors in this picture are very bold and how the reflection is so clear :) Also, it even turned out pretty well and I took this picture while in the science museum through a crappy window! There is a lot of stuff in this picture yet it is still focused in my opinion...if that makes any sense :D

Diamonds :)

Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend :)
This picture is a cool close up of the bracelets that I wore to prom. I made the contrast high and put it in black and white because it made it look pretty :)I love sparkly things :)

People :)

Minnesota State Fair
I love how this picture turned out! The light is shining behind everyone so they're all outlined in sunshine :) It was taken on top of a hill. I made the saturation high to make the colors stand out and I made the contrast high as well.

ERiKA :)

Erika...the Loner ;)
This picture was taken outside the Performing Arts Center in Burnsville. It was cool to me how there were so many bright colors yet it was rather dark outside. I had the idea again to make the person black and white because it looks especially cool here. I guess I just take pictures of stunningly beautiful people because here is another!!! Erika is so gorgeous :)

DANiELLE :)

Science Museum With Danielle!
These were taken at the science museum in November. Danielle is soo photogenic!!! It's crazy!!! She would also be a great model! For the first picture I loved all the bright colors, lights, and sparkly stuff :) and the second picture has red blood cells so i decided to take out all colors but...red! haha :) the only thing about the picture that bothers me is the electrical outlet haha i just wish it wasn't there!

Anna :)

Anna Must Be A Model.
This picture was taken at the Geist's cabin in the summer on the dock. The reflection turned out so great and then I had the idea to make the rest black and white and it looked super cool :)Also, Anna's face is soooooooooooo beautiful and she looks like a model!

LiBBY :)

My Beautiful Sister Libby

So pretty much a 2 year old could have picked up a camera, taken a picture of Libby, and it would have turned out amazing because she is so beautiful! I love taking pictures of Libby because she is the easiest person to take pictures of! (and she always does what I tell her to do and is very patient haha)

Flowers :)

FLOWERS :)
So I really like taking pictures of flowers. I really like how I could focus on the close up flower while the background is blurry. I didn't think that was possible with my digital camera! I also really like changing the saturation to high to make the colors very bright and unrealistic :)

RUBY :)

My Dog Ruby :)

I don't know why I decided to upload these pictures first...all I know is that they are super cute :) Well I'm just going to blog about my favorite pictures I took and show you them! As you know, this is My Dog Ruby. She is a very good model and I love taking pictures of her haha :)
